How much of my donation to ATYC goes directly to the work?
Obviously, we have operating costs which are necessary to continue our work. However, we work on a ‘cost’ only basis, all members of the ATYC team are volunteers. Therefore, we guarantee that barring any money needed to cover our necessary expenses in connection with the work, your donation will go directly to help our clients.

Is there a cost for the clients who use your services?
That depends on the help we are asked to provide. If we need to use a service with a cost attached this will be passed to the client. However, we will avoid using such services unless it is necessary.

What are your expectations of potential clients?
We expect our clients will be utterly transparent and truthful in all their interactions with us. We will be doing everything we can to support our clients as they meet their goals. In return, we expect that representatives from our charity to be treated with respect and care. Violence or abuse of ATYC representatives will not be tolerated and will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

How long will ATYC’s help be available to help with our project?
We will work with you on your project for as long as it is considered necessary and appropriate.

I want to volunteer with ATYC, will any costs be reimbursed?
You will be reimbursed for any authorised costs associated with your role. You may not carry out work for ATYC without authorisation.
All official ATYC volunteers must be aged 18 years or older and be residents of the UK or Republic of Ireland.

I wish to volunteer with ATYC but have a criminal conviction, can I still be involved?
That depends on the nature of your conviction. You may be prohibited from directly working with young people or members of the community.
